A full-time software engineer, a book author, and an illustrator based in Israel. Maya loves Sailormoon, reading manga, traveling, collecting kawaii things, and creating cute stationery (as requested from her beloved daughter).

Currently she is working on being a mom, developing web applications, and chibi-fy her friends :).

Hippopy the blue hippo is born to chase away the blue atmosphere couple years ago. Hippos always appears to be as the calm, slow, funny and peaceful creature. And a blue Hippo sounds much more cheerful than just normal blue, don't you think?

Hippopy Art is a side project where Maya creates cute chibi characters and animals, cute stationery and accessories featuring them. Each accessory and character is made with love and hope of cheering someone up somewhere across the globe, the very same way she feels towards seeing cute things.
